Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) was one of the most successful and prolific English novelists of the Victorian era. Collectively known as the Chronicles of Barsetshire, many of his best-loved novels revolve around the imaginary county of Barsetshire. This edition combines The Warden and Barchester Towers -- "designed to be read as modern novels" -- are the first two books in these chronicles.
