Sara Rice Pryor (1830-1912) was an American writer. Her first book, The Mother of Washington and Her Times (1903), was a popular history of colonial Virginia. She was the wife of Roger Atkinson Pryor (1828-1919), who was both an American politician and a Confederate politician serving as a congressman on both sides.
