Keith Roberts, author of the classic books PAVANE and THE CHALK GIANTS, collects the 10 of his "Kaeti" stories. Kaeti is a recurring character who can be almost anything or anyone. Kaeti was Roberts' dream girl, and he presents her as an actress on a stage, offering her different roles in each story (which she is free to turn down -- though she never does).
