Andrew Lang (1844-1912) was a Scots poet, novelist, literary critic, and contributor to the field of anthropology, best known for his collections of folk and fairy tales. The Blue Fairy Book contains some of the best known tales from several sources including the Brothers Grimm and The Arabian Nights "narrated in the clear, lively prose for which Lang was famous."
