Joseph Crosby Lincoln (1870-1944) was an American author of novels, poems, and short stories, many set in a fictionalized Cape Cod. Cy Whittaker's Place chronicles the small-town business and gossip surrounding the desire of the local House Representative's desire to acquire more property in the harbor town during the 1890s.
